David Ranney, III

Dave Ranney brings extensive knowledge and experience to real estate and mortgage lending. His success over the past twenty five+ years in the field along with his proficiency for keeping customers informed of their lending options goes hand-in-hand with Meridian Bank’s mission of being the trusted source for financial services and competitive products for our friends, neighbors and business owners in the community. Dave’s mortgage lending experience includes purchase and refinance transactions along with Construction and Renovation loans, FHA and First-time Homebuyers programs and Grants. In addition, Dave prides himself in always being available to his customers and that includes evenings and weekends. His primary market is Northern Maryland and Southern Pennsylvania. Dave primarily works from a custom home office allowing him to be closer to his customers, Realtors and Builders.

Past endeavors that enhance Dave’s experience include that of a Realtor, Professional Ice Hockey Referee (Minor-Pro and Collegiate), Residential Construction Manager and Financial Services Registered Representative (Former Series 7). Dave attended Towson University graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. Dave is a lifelong Harford County resident, currently residing in Jarrettsville.

Dave was been a season ticket holder for the Baltimore Ravens for ten years and is a fan of Baseball, lacrosse and of course Minor and Pro Hockey. He also enjoys the company of his Put Bull mix dog named Jackson, and loves the beach. Dave’s love of ice hockey speaks for itself as he has been refereeing ice hockey for 35 years including Minor League, professional, and collegiate level.
